SoCal Ragnar for Jess

I was not excited to do another Ragnar, but really wanted a girls weekend and really wanted a reason to run more!  So I did it and had the best time.  I am already signed up for next year!

 Yes, 193 miles of fun, no sleep, no showers, and lots of girl bonding!

Ashlee, our Runner #1.  I did Ragnar Las Vegas 3 years ago with her , one of my dearest friends, we were in Van 2 together.  This trip as Van 1 was so fun, and so much prettier than our Vegas runs!

 After my last run, ending at the beach was amazing.  I was Runner 2 & in Van 1.  Ran 3 legs of crazy hills from Hunnington Beach to San Diego.  So FUN!

And the day after, I stayed to rest and play with Kari & Rachael in Hunnington.  Kolby was at home with all 3 boys, and he said it was great.  Told me to get a job cuz he loved being a stay at home Dad!

Date Nights

We do not get enough of date nights.  We either have too much going on, are too tired to go out, or our usual sitter that our kids love is booked with another family!

We got to go to the Safari Club dinner and silent auction in place of Dick & Debbie.  This house was amazing, animals galore.  I thought my parents had a house full of animal heads, but this house was something we had never seen before!

 I try to treat myself to a few girls nights!  Here are a few to remember with some of my bests.

 These 3 can be so sweet & loving.  These are the moments that make my job all worth it at the end of the day!

 Can you believe this is Kolby circa 2004?  Perm and all?  Had to document this before I lost it or it got deleted.  This photo was taken the the year before we started dating.

 And look at this handy man family man now.  He can fix anything.  Our car DVD player broke, he fixed, bought a new one & installed it.  He has fixed several new glass fronts on his iPhone.  Fixed our dryer by taking it completely apart, ordered a new part and made it work again.  He fixed our glass cooktop, after something leaked under the controls and shorted something out, he took it all apart, fixed it and made it new again.  He really should have been an engineer or builder of some sort.

Happy Easter 2013

We love Easter.  One of my favorite Holidays!  Mainly because I love the colors and love dressing my kids and myself in pastels!
Our tradition is egg hunt in our house and Easter baskets from the Easter bunny in the morning.  Go to church dressed in our cutest Easter attire.  Then a brunch with all The Sparks and a big egg hunt at Jenesey & Branden's.  Kids love this and I love it more!

Spring Break to Cali

We love San Diego of course.  We have so much fun.  Kids love it and since we go there so much the kids know it so well and don't get lost!

 Nana & Papa flew over in their plane for the day to have lunch with us.  It was so cool!

 My BFF Kristi and her little girl Harper met us at the Zoo.  Kristi and I became BFF's in 2nd grade.  Its an amazing friendship.  Love her so much and wish we lived closer.

 There is nothing quite like the boardwalk at sunset.

 Never again will I agree to go on the Tilt o Whirl.  Palmer was screaming, I felt the throw up coming up and Rowan was laughing.  Longest 2 minutes ever.
