Huson's 1st Tooth - "teeth"

Yeah!!! Happy day for Happy Hudson. His 2 bottom teeth just popped in! January 30, 2012. 6 months old and right on track for an above average growth!

Its not everyday that a Hot Air Balloon lands in your back yard

Good thing I keep my windows open or we may have missed the excitement. This Hot Air balloon looked like it was going to land on our house. It safely landed on the greenbelt behind our house. We went out to watch it, the kids were in amazement. I think half our neighborhood kids were out there, so fun! Then they let the kids jump on the balloon to help deflate it. Such a cool afternoon!

Running Ro

So proud of Rowan, he joined the Run Club at school and did so awesome in his first race. They had to run 1 mile. Rowan stayed with his best bud Paul. They had so much fun. He was a little sad that he didn't place 1-6, but he still got a ribbon for finishing. We were happy he tried and finished his first mile race!

Then we went back to the school for the Art Fair. Rowan's was pretty special and drew a self portrait. Me the "artist" of the family was very proud of his skills.

3D

Beauty and the Beast. Why is 3D so much better? I think the glasses get annoying, but the kids think they are pretty cool. My Mom took us and my sister and her kids which made it super fun. Wish we could meet up for movie and lunch more often.

Our Nanny Got Married

Boo, our Nanny Lauren got married today. Sad sad day for me. She has known my kids since Rowan was 3 months old. She practically lived with me last summer when I had Hudson. My kids love her to pieces. She decided to grow up, get married, get a real adult job, and have not time left to help out the Sparks! She still babysits on the weekends here and there, but she's gone, super bittersweet, and super hard for me to let go of her to grow up. We will miss our Miss Lauren so much.

Kolby and I at her Temple Sealing Ceremony, Mesa Temple. Palmer came and had to bring his backpack. Lala bought it for him for Christmas and he is obsessed. It goes everywhere.

Baby cousins

I am trying to find a similar photo from when Rowan & Greyson were this age. Its so sweet that they already know each other so well. They have been at the gym together everyday for a year. They see each other and get happy or if grabbing each others faces is happy then I think they are! These 2 are 3 months apart and I can only hope that they have a similar bond that their older brothers do. Its so funny that Rowan & Greyson crave each other, they are brothers, they could live together forever and not get tired of each other. Love their love for each other.

Phoenix Suns

It had been 8 years since I last attended a Suns Game. We went with my 2 sister in laws Alison & Kendell, and had a fun suite. The last game I went to was with just Jenesey pre kids! Time flies. The game was fun, not as crazy as I remember, and not nearly as crowded as I see on TV!

Another Flat...

Best Husband ever goes to Mine!!!! 3 flats in 3 weeks. This one happened with all 3 kids in the car, of course on my way to the gym, 1 minute from our house, pouring rain, Kolby to the rescue. He had just gotten to work and turned right around to come save us! The boys were loving the rain and watching Dad and the police officer help us.

Tough Mudder

Kolby has done this race a few times and for some reason he loves it. It seems like torture to me, but he had fun doing it with his friends.

Monday night

Dinner time is one of my least favorite times of the day. Mainly due to my picky eaters, my health nut husband, and the baby... So I have tried to have set staple meals that everyone likes and eats. Monday night has become a tradition to have family pizza making night. I get the best dough from Roma's in Tucson, sauce, and the kids put on the toppings. Everyone is happy tonight with their own creations. Lets hope this lasts all year as a Monday night staple.

San Diego

I know it will be an amazing year. Especially when we start it off with a long weekend to our 2nd home, San Diego. Our boys love the beach and cry when we tell them we are leaving... The boys had a blast on the boardwalk. Palmer was non stop on his scooter. We usually bring his tricycle, but he is SO slow, so we tried the scooter, and he was seriously crusin!

My best friends from Tucson all live in Cali, so its always catch up time to see my San Diego BFF's Kristi, Jenna, Dianne, their kids and spouses. Until next time SD...

2012

Cheers to 2012. Another year of mothering 3 boys, helping them grow, learn, and enjoy life as much as I do... most of the time. With some more patience, quiet time, and date nights, this year may just be better than the last. End of Blogging for 2011

So this was a year of learning, as every year should be. I made it through as an official blogger. I try so hard to blog our memories and note the important milestones from our children. I will for sure try harder next year to be on top of my blog so family and friends can keep up with us, The Sparkling Sparks.
I am so grateful for my family. My parents. My In-Laws. My friends. Life is great. Loved 2011.
