Annual Weekend to Flagstaff

Love going to the cooler rainy weather at the end of summer with my sister and her 2 girls.  I never get to see them so its so nice to get caught up and spend some time with these beauties.  We stayed at Little America, rode the train from Williams to the Grand Canyon, and played tons.  I have lived in AZ my entire life and had never been tot he Grand Canyon until now.  It really is amazing.  The kids were so tired of walking that we did not get to hike around much, but the rim was hot, full of foreigners, and lots of squirrels.

We now look forward to our summer vacation, we get to go to the most beautiful place with our family.  Island Park is a Sparks tradition.  The 2nd annual 4th of July trip was a success and we all cried this year when it was time to go home.  These cousins have bonds that I never knew family could have.  I didn't grow up with any cousins so for my kids to have their cousins as their best friends is amazing to me.  Picture over load.  Best 2 weeks ever.

 Annual Sawtelle Stampede.  Kids did the fun run, Kolby, Branden, and I did the 10K, and Jenesey did the half marathon.  She got 2nd and did amazing!

 Our little campsite for the night.  It rained, was cold, and Hudson and I ended up sleeping in the car.  It was a little rough.  Not sure I am ready to try camping again.

 Four Birthdays celebrated up here.  July 7th, Greyson turned 7.

What did we do before Idaho summers?  We are so grateful for Papa & Nana and that our family can be up here together and have so much fun
